Accidentally Pressed Fresh Start Black Ops 4 Zombies Prestige
I Accidentally Used Fresh Start instead of Prestige 1
So, it was my first prestige and i was excited to start.I go into the prestige screen and i click the fresh start button which had only ONE warning and i thought that's what was needed to be clicked for prestiging.
Aside the button which is in a very very bad spot(i'm not the only one who did it by accident), is there any way i can get my progress back??.
I made some Gold Camos already and it would be so bad to have to start again.I honestly didn't even know this option was a thing in cod....

What I want to know is the ratio of people using this as they intended and how many did it accidentally, I gotta imagine it's mostly on accident, seems like an EXTREMELY NICHE FEATURE, Why put it right next to one of the most popular features of the game? What about giving it a more clear name, like Total Reset, hey I get it's not a flashy name but it gets the point across and in a way is its own warning. Or seeing as how this has been a feature apparently across multiple black ops games, maybe invest in an undo of some kind?

I just did the same thing. I haven't played a COD game in ages. I knew prestiging would take me back to level 1, so the warning wasn't heeded like it should have been. I'm really gutted right now.

You wanna hear something really bad, This happening to you on your 8th (going to 9th) prestige and near dark matter. Like it happened to me 30 minutes ago. Im broken I don't even believe its true but I guess thats the way life is. :(

You should of read the warning saying there was no way to get your progress back after a fresh start

This is a new feature for super sweaty try hards to have a reason to continue playing after they've sweated out 10th prestige in 2 weeks time living at their parents having no job and never leaving their house. Ya know.. "replay" value.
Serious note, sucks to hear about your loss man, but don't worry you'll get it all back and be the first ever 11th prestige!

It's not a new feature though, I used fresh start around half a dozen times in bow and at least once in bo3

Thought you had to prestige first before you could even fresh reset.

Been soaking up double xp all weekend and prestiged twice. Fucking wasnt paying attention on the second one though and now I'm on a fresh start

Dude I just did this going from 4th to 5th. I just played for 6 hours straight during double XP. Gosh darn I am CRUSHED. I want to cry but can't stop laughing at this. I'm sure when I wake up in the morning I will have a good cry. Uhhhhh.

Just happened with me trying to go to prestige 2. It was the default spot the cursor was on when I entered prestige mode. So angry. So, so angry.

Yep. I just did the same. It just looks like it's part of the process. The Fresh Restart option should be in an entirely different menu. Or it should at least automatically back you out of that screen once you've done the prestige bit. Fuck. I only prestiged because I read online that it keeps your weapon levels. Fuck.
